DOes HLI TAKE VOLUNTEERS?
Unfortunately, we do not currently accept volunteers at this time.
HOW DO I GET MY YEAR-END GIVING STATEMENT SO I CAN FILE MY TAXES?
HLI sends out year-end giving statements every January to the e-mail address you provided when signing up online.
If you sent a donation to us in the mail using a physical check, every January we mail your year-end giving statement to the address displayed on the check you sent us.
If you did not receive your giving statement, please contact us immediately and we will get it to you as quickly as we can.
CAN I PAUSE OR ADJUST THE AMOUNT OF SUPPORT I’M GIVING EACH MONTH?
Yes. HLI uses a software service called Donorbox which allows our supporters complete control of their own giving profile.
Just log on to Donorbox using the automated email receipt you received from Donorbox when you signed up, and you can update your profile in any way you’d like.
CAN I SEND PHYSICAL ITEMS TO BE DONATED?
No, please do not send us physical items to be donated as we source all of our needs directly from the communities where we work.
While we appreciate the gesture, we recommend donating physical goods to charities in your local community.
